2009 was amazing -- in only 4 weekends of showing, lewis was #2 in ukc --
that's remarkable and is a testament to the greatness of this young dog.
  we are humbled by the recognition given to him by the judges.
  Lewis is a 'martin' grandson.

Lewis congratulates litter sisters Wendy and Morella.
Each is OFA GOOD and OFEL NORMAL.

          Louis/Lewis is named for his mother whom we call 'Ella' after Ella Fitzgerald. 
Ella was given a Jazz name to honor her mother, Lyndhurst Jasmine.
Louis Armstrong was one of our favorite male Jazz Singers.
Our favorite Louis Armstrong song? "What A Wonderful World"

Louis is also named for Andy's beloved late older brother, Lewis Anderson
Lewis and Andy  are pictured together below.

Although Lewis has the full array of phenotypic and genetic testing,
and he has a pedigree genetically NORMAL/CLEAR,
 he is NOT available at public stud.

OFA hips at 2 years 'normal' FAIR. They are in process of resubmission due to positioning of xray. 
We are advised that 2 raters found "good' and 2 found 'fair', but one of the 'good' raters was the internal rater
whose vote on finals does not count toward the published rating. His PRELIM XRAYS were GOOD.
Lewis suffered Puppy Strangles and was prescribed and given Prednisone for an extended period as a wee puppy. 
We believe his elbow results are due to that medication effects: 0:1 
Left elbow is Normal.The RIGHT elbow has a hairline calcification
We also believe the intermittent swelling of his left hock is caused by aftereffects of pred. 
His hocks have been evaluated as normal.

We always believe in 'full disclosure' and support open data bases.
